Kaweah Delta 6th Annual Quality and Patient Safety Symposium
The Science of Improvement and the Art of Improvisation: Collaborative Tools to Accelerate Change

Change the conversation about improvement, activate your team, and accelerate your work.

We can’t do it alone. More than ever before, healthcare needs people who can successfully collaborate with their colleagues, patients and families to deliver on the promise of high quality, affordable care and exceptional experience. While we often know what needs to be done from a quality improvement standpoint, the how to work together to do it can be challenging. In this hands-on, high-energy workshop you’ll explore the science of improvement and learn a complimentary structure for teamwork and collaboration based on techniques used in improvisational theater. Reframe and revitalize your improvement efforts with tools to help you become more flexible, agile and supportive as you co-design solutions that make an impact.
