CHPSO Webinar: Safer-System Redesign Moving Patient Safety Towards a Proactive Future
As the Patient Safety movement continues to evolve, many
organizations have proposed the move from our standard reactive
approach to one that proactively looks to address potential
patient harm before it even occurs. At the Stanford Health Care
Center for Advancing Patient Safety, a team of Engineers,
Physicians, and Nurses have developed and implemented a novel,
proactive method of providing safer patient care within complex
health systems. In this presentation, you’ll learn about their
unique model for melding safety sciences, their approach to
engaging stakeholders across the health continuum, and some
examples of the work they have done at Stanford.
