Trends in CHPSO Perinatal Event Data and Lessons Learned from Successes of Small Hospitals
Objectives
A number of California hospital stakeholders are doing important work in reducing Nulliparous, Term, Singleton, Vertex (NTSV) Cesarean deliveries, many of whom have achieved the Healthy People 2020 goal of 23.9 percent or less NTSV Cesarean deliveries. The purpose of this webinar is to:
- review Cesarean delivery trends in CHPSO perinatal event data
- share findings from a survey of 30 small and rural hospitals successful in achieving an NTSV rate of 23.9 percent or less.
